49mm XS-Pro Kaesemann High Transmission Circular Polarizer MRC-Nano Filter

The B+W 49mm XS-Pro Kaesemann High Transmission Circular Polarizer is designed to reduce reflections and glare from non-metallic surfaces while enhancing color saturation and clearing atmospheric haze in landscape photography. This circular polarizer uses 99.5% light transmission Kaesemann foils cemented between precision-polished Schott glass elements, making it compatible with autofocus and auto-exposure functions on digital cameras. The filter features multiple anti-reflection coatings including B+W's MRC multi-resistant coating and an additional Nano coating layer that provides improved water beading for easier cleaning.

The thin brass rotating filter ring minimizes vignetting while maintaining durability, and the filter has a 2 to 2.8x filter factor that reduces exposure by 1 to 1.5 stops. The filter is most effective when used at approximately 90 degrees to the sun's position. It comes with a plastic storage case for protection during transport and storage.
