This teleconverter maintains full autofocus, exposure metering, and vibration reduction capabilities while introducing only a 1.5-stop loss of light, making it a practical solution for extending lens reach. The optical design consists of seven elements in four groups with Nikon's Integrated Coating to minimize flaring and ghosting.
