The Canon RF 135mm f/1.8 L IS USM is a medium-telephoto prime lens designed for Canon's RF-mount full-frame mirrorless cameras. The lens features an exceptionally bright f/1.8 maximum aperture that enables extensive control over depth of field and performs well in low-light conditions. Its L-series optical design includes three ultra-low dispersion elements and specialized coatings that deliver high sharpness, clarity, and accurate color rendering while minimizing flare and ghosting.
The lens is equipped with Canon's Nano USM autofocus system for fast and silent focusing performance, along with an optical image stabilizer that compensates for up to 5.5 stops of camera shake, or up to 8 stops when paired with in-body stabilization. The robust, weather-sealed construction features a fluorine-coated front element and a configurable control ring for adjusting exposure settings, making it suitable for professional portrait work and other demanding shooting situations.
